GreaterGood.org was born out of a desire to make a difference--to connect those looking to help with those who are on the ground helping.

It starts with an individual who is driven, moved, motivated, and inspired to make a difference. If together we decide we are going to make curing cancer a priority, then it is more likely to happen. If we decide that no child should die for lack of a simple 10-cent vitamin A supplement, then we can halt this tragedy. As I recently heard a seven-year-old observe, "If we all want to end world hunger, then why can't we?" I couldn't agree more.

Margaret Mead said, "Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world." With the power of the Internet, like-minded individuals are no longer limited by geography--they can unite online, joining forces in larger numbers than ever before in a concerted effort to accomplish important goals. GreaterGood.org provides the meetinghouse: the connection point for individuals and corporations to find and contribute to a cause they care about.

We are what our name conveys: an organization for the greater good of all. We welcome you to our family, and look forward to working with you to make the world a better place.
