Endangered Species Act Rolled Back: Protect Wildlife this Earth Month
A federal committee voted to strip the Endangered Species Act protections from all oil and gas drilling in the Gulf of Mexico permanently. This decision puts already endangered species at even greater risk.
A federal fisheries analysis already determined that Gulf drilling is likely to harm these species through oil spills, ship strikes, and habitat destruction. Without these protections, these animals are on their own.
The animals now at risk: sea turtles, manatees, and the Rice's whale: a species found nowhere else on earth, with fewer than 100 individuals remaining. They need your help.
With your support, Greater Good Charities is mobilizing resources right now to support wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and protection in the Gulf.
This Earth Month, you can help protect Gulf Wildlife. Donate Now!
