Help Loren the Brave Heal
April is National Greyhound Adoption Month. Let’s team up to do everything we can to help these amazing animals!
During a race at a Greyhound Racetrack in Tijuana, Mexico, a 3-year-old male greyhound named Loren sustained two catastrophic open compound fractures in his leg. This injury not only ended his racing career, it threatened his life. Thankfully, Greyhound Adoption Center in El Cajon, CA, came to the rescue. Loren was in shock due to blood loss and pain, and the veterinarian was forced to remove his leg.
Loren’s surgery costs drained Greyhound Adoption Center’s emergency medical fund. They need help replenishing this emergency fund to help other dogs like Loren and to continue his care as he waits for the best forever home.
