Help Fly 125 Dogs & Cats from Overcrowded Shelters to Safety!

Clockwise: Marshall – Abandoned and wondering the streets, owners wouldn’t claim him; Leona – Found in bad shape, picked on by other cats and was scheduled to be euthanized; Flurry – Owners got a divorce and turned him in; Bryce – Found hungry and shivering in a dumpster in Corpus Christi, Texas.

With your help, last month’s GreaterGood.org / Freekibble Flight to Freedom saved 162 pets! Our next Flight is scheduled to leave Dallas on June 8th – carrying 125 loving, healthy pets from overcrowded shelters in Southern states to shelters in the Northwest where they will immediately be adopted! Most of these dogs and cats will not survive if they don’t make this flight.

In shelters across the country, highly adoptable dogs and cats are euthanized simply because shelters are overcrowded. In other areas, shelters have a shortage of adoptable pets. GreaterGood.org and Freekibble are working with Wings of Rescue to save homeless pets by flying them to shelters where they’re immediately adopted!

Wings of Rescue’s mission is to fly rescue animals in overpopulated shelters to a network of no-kill shelters from which they will be quickly adopted into loving homes. Last year alone, Wings of Rescue transported nearly 10,000 pets to no-kill shelters who likely would have been euthanized within 48 hours. The average length of stay in the new shelters for these pets was less than 3 1/2 days before they were adopted! Wings of Rescue is in urgent need of your support to maintain their operations. With your help these animals can have a second chance at life and find their forever and loving homes!

Our partner, Halo Pets, will be donating 10,000 bowls of their high quality food to the shelters receiving the animals!
