Providing Critical Aid in Ukraine: The Importance of Hygiene Kits

As the war in Ukraine continues, we are committed to providing aid where needed most. Hygiene Kits contain essential items that are often overlooked for vulnerable communities. Due to the ongoing war, many regions face severe resource shortages and supply chain disruptions, making it difficult for people to access hygiene supplies. Recently, Greater Good Charities partnered with DTCare to provide these critical supplies for people and families in Ukraine.

Our Hygiene Kit Distribution So Far

On the first day of distribution, the team on the ground delivered kits to Zorya, Partyzanske, and Blahodatne. The next day kits were delivered to two humanitarian hubs in Kherson, but the delivery there continues to be precarious due to a close call with Russian drones. One of the hubs was targeted just minutes after the team left. Kits continue to be delivered to villages thanks to volunteers' incredible bravery, on-the-ground teams, and our partners.

• Protection for Vulnerable Groups: Certain populations, including children, the elderly, and those with compromised immune systems, are particularly susceptible to illness. Hygiene kits offer essential protection, helping these groups maintain their health in difficult circumstances.

Each hygiene kit is carefully assembled in a durable, reusable plastic bucket, providing recipients with not only essential supplies but also a practical tool for future use. The contents of the kit include:

These items are thoughtfully selected to address the immediate hygiene needs of those affected by the war, ensuring they have the means to stay clean and healthy.
