This holiday season, we’re hosting a Pet Food Drive to send 2.5 million meals to dogs and cats.

Food is often the largest cost for animal shelters. And as they reach unmanageable levels of pet overpopulation, they must limit the number of pets they can save—meaning many pets won’t find a home for the holidays. Just $50 can send 1,000 meals. 

Fly Pets to Safety

Shelters are overwhelmed and over capacity.

This holiday season, Greater Good Charities is flying pets from under-resourced shelters to less-crowded shelters, where they’re more likely to get adopted into loving families. Just $100 can fly a pet five miles closer to a home.

Help Protect Wolves

Red and Mexican Wolves are critically endangered. They need our help to survive. 

There are only a few hundred Red and Mexican wolves left in the wild. They’re often struck by cars as humans encroach on their habitats. We're partnering with wolf sanctuaries to build wildlife crossings on busy roads and are renovating wildlife sanctuaries to accommodate more born-captive and injured wolves. This holiday season, give the gift of protection.

Help Save Endangered Manatees

Fewer than 700 Puerto Rican Antillean manatees remain, threatened by boat strikes, entanglement, habitat loss, and illegal hunting.

Taiku and Dakiti, two orphaned calves rescued near Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, are now preparing to return to the wild after three years of rehabilitation. Taiku was just a few days old when she was found clinging to her mother’s body off Puerto Rico’s south coast. A jet ski had killed her mother—one casualty in a long list of threats facing the endangered Puerto Rican Antillean manatee, a subspecies of the American manatee. 

With your support, manatees receive the specialized care they need, from medical treatment and nutrition to behavioral conditioning and post-release satellite tracking. Your gift helps provide the food, veterinary care, tracking, and research needed to protect Taiku, Dakiti, and the future of this endangered species.
