Under Water: Rush Aid to People and Pets in Iowa & Surrounding States 
 
Days of unprecedented rainfall have pushed rivers to record levels across northwest Iowa and neighboring states, resulting in catastrophic flash flooding and rivers and streams rising to dangerous levels, including a broken levee forcing hundreds to evacuate from their homes. 
 
Now, South Dakota and Minnesota residents face similar dire circumstances. Some towns inundated with flooding have turned off power, prompting water safety concerns, sewage issues, and the impact of no electricity amidst sweltering temperatures.  
 
Greater Good Charities is on the ground assisting partners in providing emergency aid. We need your help to respond quickly to the needs across this region. 
 
Please help us send Good Packs for people and pets. These include hygiene and comfort items for displaced families as well as pet essentials. Our GOODS team is mobilizing shipments of pet food and supplies for animal shelters facing an influx of lost pets due to flooding.
