Storms in Hill Country Texas have brought more than 2 feet of rainfall–in the same area as last year’s Camp Mystic and Guadalupe River flooding. Families across the state are being forced to evacuate, and many animals have been lost in the chaos. Animal shelters are trying to get their pets to higher ground to keep them safe. They're bracing for an influx of displaced pets. 

As floodwater rises, roads are quickly turning into rivers. Over 230 rescues have already occurred with 2 fatalities. Reservoirs are at capacity and are threatening to overflow. Families and pets are in desperate need of supplies.
