Help Feed Pets in Need After Hurricane Melissa

Jamaica and other Caribbean islands are reeling from the devastation of Hurricane Melissa, which made landfall as one of the strongest Atlantic hurricanes ever recorded. 

Now, as impacted communities begin to pick up the pieces, families who lost everything are overwhelmed with many challenges. Among them: how to keep their pets fed and safe as they struggle to access the resources they themselves need to move forward. Meanwhile animal shelters are still recovering from flooding and power outages while caring for an influx of lost and displaced pets, and resources are running dangerously low.  

You can help. Greater Good Charities activated ahead of the storm to be ready to send support as soon as it struck. Our teams have boots on the ground in Jamaica, and we’re working to provide critical resources including pet food and supplies to those in need. But we can’t do it without you.
