No One Should Go Hungry

On November 1, SNAP benefits, the country’s largest anti-hunger program, are expected to expire for 42 million people. This includes families with pets who depend on that support to keep both their pantries and their pet bowls full.

More than 30 million households with pets are already food insecure, and when there’s no pet food available, many share what little they have. Families often feed their pets from their own plates, skipping meals to make sure their animals don’t go hungry. No one should have to make that choice.

That’s why Greater Good Charities is stepping in to help fill the gap. Through our nationwide network of partners and ambassadors, we’re delivering pet food and essential supplies to families in need, helping keep beloved animals in their homes and out of shelters.
