Throughout Africa, cheetahs need your help. Cheetahs once ranged across almost the entire African continent and into Asia, but today they are found in only 9% of their historic range. As cheetahs rapidly lose habitat, they are more vulnerable to human-wildlife conflict and the illegal wildlife trade. Now, these extraordinary creatures are Africa's most endangered cat. In fact, only about 7,100 cheetahs remain in the wild.

We're working with our partners to protect land in Africa, raise awareness for cheetah conservation, and save cheetahs from illegal poaching. With your support, we have helped fund the rescue of these cheetah cubs from smugglers who took them from their natural habitat. They are now safe thanks in part to our funding. Help us save more cheetahs, both from illegal poaching and the threat of extinction.
