Mae is a 3-month-old Mae was born without a normal anal opening. She was only able to defecate through an abnormal connection between the rectum and vagina, posing serious risks of infection, discomfort, and failure to thrive.
Mae required delicate, specialized surgery to create a functional anal opening, followed by ongoing monitoring and care during her recovery. Additional procedures may still be needed depending on her progress.
A gift from you can help cover Mae's emergency surgery and recovery. With your help, this deserving cat can get the second chance she deserves. Any funds raised over the goal amount will go to help provide medical care to more shelter pets in need. Donate now to help Mae and other animals like her.
Amanda has been able to receive the medical care she desperately needs, but we need your help to cover the cost of her care and the care of other animals like her.
