Because Vietnam is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world, with over 50,000 species of plants and animals calling it home, conservation efforts in the region can be tricky. Efforts to save one species must take into account all the other creatures that could be affected. That’s why further research is needed to save species like the Indochinese Box Turtle. 

This June, Greater Good Charities’ Global Discovery Expeditions program is headed to Vietnam.
