Send a Care Package to a Dog in Need!

Ziggy was found as a stray in a run-down neighborhood. He was starving and had such a terrible case of mange, it hurt him to even be touched. Despite being quarantined, he developed pneumonia and almost died. Thankfully, he survived and was able to receive medical care and nutritious food thanks to food donations. He went from a puppy near death to a puppy in a loving foster home ready to meet his forever family.

Due to the high cost of basic necessities, shelters often limit the number of dogs they can save and provide homes for. Soaring temperatures across the U.S. have triggered dangerous heat-related events. A record-breaking heat wave is impacting dozens of cities and putting millions of pets at risk, as high temperatures threaten the health of pets living outdoors and shelters struggle to afford the high cost of keeping their pets cool.  

You can help save more dogs like Ziggy by donating a care package. Just $25 can provide 200 bowls of dog food, two comfy beds, and the vaccination of two shelter dogs.

Due to the high cost of basic necessities such as food, vaccinations, and bedding, shelters often have to limit the number of dogs they can save and provide homes for.

A comfy bed and a full belly can go a long way for the well-being of shelter dogs and puppies. Through proper vaccination, animals' risk of disease is cut down or eliminated, leaving shelter volunteers more time to find good homes for these dogs. Animals that are healthy, happy, and well-fed stand a much better chance of being adopted.
