Billie, a gray, black, and white wolf, was rescued from the exotic pet trade and found safety with our partners at a wildlife sanctuary. With her bold personality and boundless curiosity, she quickly became a favorite—and a reminder of what’s possible when wolves are given the protection they deserve.

But Billie’s story is just one piece of a much larger fight. Across the U.S., wolves face shrinking habitats, vehicle collisions, and human threats that endanger their survival. Fewer than 20 red wolves remain in the wild, making urgent action critical to ensure they don’t vanish forever.

That’s why we’re supporting both the individualized care wolves like Billie need and broader conservation efforts, including funding wildlife crossings that make highways safer and reconnect fragmented habitats. These crossings reduce deadly vehicle strikes and give wolves and other at-risk species the chance to roam freely and safely.

Endangered wolves need us now more than ever. Donate today to support Billie’s care and help create a safer, stronger future for wolves in the wild.

Help Protect Vulnerable Wildlife

At Greater Good Charities, we believe the well-being of people, animals, and the environment are all deeply connected. When one is disrupted, entire ecosystems can be thrown out of balance. That’s why we’re dedicated to protecting species that are at risk, threatened, and endangered in their natural habitats.

Since our founding, Greater Good Charities has helped protect more than 30 endangered species and over 1.3 million acres of habitat. Our holistic approach includes mitigating conflict between humans and wildlife, responding during natural disasters and extreme weather events, and providing food, medical care, and other critical support to animals in need.

To ensure endangered wolves can survive and thrive, we are committed to working with local partners to expand safe habitats, reduce human-wildlife conflict, and give these keystone predators the chance to reclaim their place in the wild.
