Written by GGC | May 28 2025

In the frontline cities of Ukraine—like Kherson—daily life is a battle for survival. Russian artillery, drones, and rocket fire strike indiscriminately, destroying homes and hospitals, schools and streets. The physical damage is staggering, but so too is the emotional toll. Still, amid the chaos, hope persists.

Real Stories of Impact: War-Damaged Windows Leave Families Exposed to the Elements

One Window at a Time, Hope Is Being Restored

These are not isolated stories. They are part of a greater movement—one that your support makes possible. At Greater Good Charities, we believe in restoring more than buildings—we believe in restoring lives. That’s why we partnered with Insulate Ukraine, an organization working on the ground to help civilians return to and remain in their homes by replacing shattered windows and insulating damaged structures. Through our partnership with Insulate Ukraine, Greater Good Charities is helping hundreds of Ukrainians return to safe, warm homes.

In a landscape battered by war, every window repaired is an act of resilience. Every family able to stay in their home is a victory against fear and displacement.

Thank you for helping us rebuild hope—one window, one family, one life at a time.
