Supporting Wildlife Recovery: Cleanup Efforts at Seaside Seabird Sanctuary

Hurricane recovery is a multifaceted process that goes beyond delivering supplies. While Greater Good Charities has sent over 130 trucks loaded with humanitarian and pet supplies across the Southeast, we understand that some of the most essential—and often overlooked—tasks are as simple as cleanup. These efforts are critical to ensuring the safety and well-being of both people and animals affected by the storm.

On the Ground at Seaside Seabird Sanctuary

In Florida, Greater Good Charities' Disaster Relief Team worked alongside Seaside Seabird Sanctuary to clear debris and help restore a safe environment for the birds to heal. The hurricane left the sanctuary scattered with wreckage, threatening the safety of these beautiful seabirds. But with the help of our partners and donors, we’re committed to making sure the sanctuary can once again be a refuge for this wildlife.

Committed to Long-Term Recovery

Recovery from a disaster of this magnitude takes time, but we are dedicated to supporting affected communities, wildlife, and habitats. We’re here to ensure the healing process continues long after the storm has passed.

How You Can Help

Our work is only possible because of the support from donors like you. Your contributions allow us to respond quickly and effectively, not only with emergency supplies but also with long-term recovery efforts.

Together, we can help ensure that wildlife and communities have a chance to rebuild and thrive.
