Many companies offer a matching gift program to encourage philanthropic giving among their employees and as a way for them to support the causes you care about most. Once you’ve made a donation to Greater Good Charities, search for your employer using our secure online tool to see if they offer a matching gift program. From there, follow the instructions to submit the necessary form. Once approved, matching funds will be sent from your company directly to us to amplify the good!

If your company doesn’t match employee gifts, we encourage you to reach out to your HR department to learn about your options. You can inspire your company to start a matching gift program! 

You can email your form to donate@greatergood.org. We will complete and submit any necessary documents to your employer. If you need to mail a form, please address it to:

You should have received an email receipt immediately upon making your donation. Please check your spam folder in case it landed there by mistake. Also, you can log in in to your donor portal at any time to view your gift and download your receipt. Please reach out to donate@greatergood.org with any questions!

Every company has different matching gift rules, but we find that several will match monetary donations dollar-for-dollar or greater for current employees, spouses, and retired employees. Some will also match volunteer hours. You can learn more through our secure online tool above or by reaching out to your HR department.  

Timing will vary depending on your employer. You can check with your HR department for details on payout timing.
