Thanks to pre-positioned supplies in the Los Angeles area, strong logistics systems, and rapid coordination with local partners, we were able to respond rapidly, distributing aid as soon as travel restrictions were lifted.

With the help of our donors, we raised $8 million in aid in a matter of weeks, a testament to the importance of preparedness. Here’s what that aid looked like:

  • 37,848 People Helped
  • 62,898 Animals Helped
  • 3,510 Emergency Packs Distributed
  • 4,953,627 Pet Meals Delivered
  • 155 Animals Evacuated
  • 280 Doses of Pet Vaccines Provided

Our work is far from over. We’re ready before disaster strikes, but we also stick around long afterwards. In Los Angeles, we’re committed to supporting long-term recovery efforts—helping overwhelmed shelters stay open, ensuring pet owners have the supplies they need, and providing partners with the tools to adapt as recovery evolves.
