Delivering Essential Aid: Diapers for Families Impacted by Hurricane Helene
Meeting Urgent Needs in Asheville
Greater Good Charities remains on the ground in Asheville, North Carolina, responding to the dynamic needs of the community in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Listening closely to local leaders and residents, we’ve evolved our approach to ensure we’re delivering the most urgently needed items to families still reeling from the storm’s destruction.
Emergency Diaper Distribution
One of the most critical requests we’ve heard: diapers. Many families, already struggling with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, are now facing a severe shortage of basic supplies. This week, Greater Good Charities delivered desperately needed diapers to help parents care for their young children. Thanks to the dedication of our logistics team, these diapers—along with thousands of other essential supplies—traveled from Santa Clarita, California, to North Carolina in just a matter of days after we learned of the dire need.
The Power of Adaptability
This rapid response would not have been possible without the support of our donors, whose generosity allows Greater Good Charities to turn-on-a-dime and adapt our efforts to meet changing needs. Whether it's diapers, food, or other vital resources, we are committed to getting families what they need, when they need it most.
How You Can Help
