Three Years of Aid: Greater Good Charities’ Continued Support for Ukraine
Since the invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Greater Good Charities has remained steadfast in our mission to provide aid to communities devastated by war. Through relentless attacks, displacement, and destruction, the generosity of our donors makes continued mobilization of critical resources possible to support the people, animals, and environment affected by the ongoing crisis.
The Ongoing Crisis and Our Commitment
The future of Ukraine remains as uncertain as ever. As international aid from other sources diminishes, some of the most underserved communities are left struggling to survive. But we refuse to turn away.
In villages where no other support is arriving, we remain well-positioned and committed to filling gaps in aid. Over the past three years, your support has enabled Greater Good Charities to deliver meaningful relief to those in need, from replacing windows shattered by explosions in homes and hospitals to delivering food and hygiene supplies to people remaining near the front lines to helping to restore pollinator hives and small businesses.
Highlights of the work your donations have made possible:
- Replacing windows shattered by explosions near homes and hospitals to provide warmth and safety.
- Feeding, sheltering, and evacuating pets displaced in the wake of destruction.
- Delivering food, blankets, and hygiene essentials to those near the front lines.
- Supporting Ukrainian beekeepers and small businesses to restore local livelihoods.
The Impact of Your Generosity has been profound
Over the past three years, your support has enabled Greater Good Charities to deliver meaningful relief to those in need:
- 850,000+ people have received essential aid.
- Over 4.1 million meals have been served to those facing food insecurity.
- 18,650 food boxes, 48,500 blankets, and 8,026 hygiene kits have been distributed.
- 868,390 pets have received support, including tens of millions of meals.
- Beekeepers have received 110,231 pounds of sugar, 625 queen bees, and 625 bee packages to sustain pollination efforts.
- Thousands of cats and dogs have been spayed, neutered, and provided with veterinary care.
Our partners continue to share firsthand accounts of the difference your support makes:
“In these dark times, your support is more than just aid—it is proof that we are not forgotten. Every delivery, every act of kindness, reminds us that hope is still alive. Thank you for standing with us when the world feels like it’s falling apart.”
— Yulia Firka, Founder of United for Animals
The Work Is Far from Over
While these numbers represent profound relief, they also highlight the growing need. Families remain displaced, communities are in crisis, and lives are at risk. As the crisis persists, so does our commitment to standing with Ukraine.
With your continued support, we will keep providing life-saving aid, hope, and stability to those who need it most. Together, we can make an impact that lasts.
Help us continue this mission to reach those who need it most. Donate today to remind them they are not forgotten.
