Since the war in Ukraine began, an entire nation has been fighting for survival—facing devastation, displacement, and deep uncertainty about what tomorrow will bring. Cities once filled with families and laughter have been reduced to rubble. Villages, isolated and overlooked, are struggling to recover and rebuild.
But amid this crisis, there is a powerful thread of resilience—and hope. And that hope is made possible by people like you.
A Humanitarian Crisis Still Unfolding
The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has created a massive humanitarian crisis. Millions of people have been displaced from their homes. Families have been torn apart. Critical infrastructure—including homes, schools, hospitals, and shelters—has been destroyed. In villages where heavy conflict continues, isolation and constant danger, access to food, medical care, and basic essentials remain a daily struggle.
Animals have also been caught in the crossfire—many abandoned, injured, or left without shelter or care. The needs are immense and constantly evolving.
Our Commitment: Staying Where Aid Is Needed
From the earliest days of the invasion, Greater Good Charities has been on the ground and on the front lines of response.
Thanks to your unwavering support, we’ve been able to:
- Deliver emergency food, water, hygiene supplies, and medical aid to families in war-affected regions.
- Provide pet food, veterinary supplies, and shelter to displaced animals in need.
- Helping Ukrainians' beekeepers, to help them begin to rebuild their livelihoods.
- Support the repair of vital infrastructure to help families return to safe, livable spaces.
- Partner with trusted local organizations to ensure aid reaches rural and hard-to-reach communities that are often forgotten.
Every Act of Aid Is a Reminder: They Are Not Alone
For many of the people we meet in Ukraine, every meal provided or window installed is more than just a practical solution—it’s a lifeline. It’s a reminder that someone across the world cares. That they are not alone.
In the words of Iryna, a young mother of three:
“I would like the war to end so we stop wondering whether we will wake up tomorrow. Every family here is in a bad financial state, and your support is very important. The street we are on has 80% of the buildings destroyed. We are left with nothing, but life continues, and we need blankets and food. It is very nice that we are not forgotten and we are supported. I feel happy and grateful that we are not left alone here.”
