Over 15,000 acres have been ravaged by wildfires in New Mexico, causing widespread displacement and devastation.
Greater Good Charities mobilized its Disaster Relief Team to Ruidoso, New Mexico, partnering with other organizations on the ground to support hundreds of displaced families in the community as well as from the nearby Mescalero Apache Reservation.
Together, we are distributing essential supplies to provide immediate and effective relief.

Partnering for Pet and Livestock Care
In addition to supporting displaced families, Greater Good Charities is collaborating with the Mescalero Fish & Game team to deliver pet food to those unable to access supplies. Efforts are underway to feed pets and livestock left behind in the evacuation zone and transport injured pets to the Ruidoso Animal Clinic for care.
Greater Good Charities' food and supply donations also aid the Mescalero Fish & Game's shelter in the evacuation zone. This center cares for dogs, chickens, cats, and even a pig whose owners have evacuated. The need for assistance continues as the community recovers from the devastation.
